This is a sample blog post for my 3º ESO and 1º Bachillerato students. 3º ESO students should write a blog entry with resolutions for things they want to improve. They can use the model on page 96 as an example. Alternatively, they comment this entry to comply with the minimum requirement of “writing blog posts, comments or brief messages on social networks.”
1º Bachillerato students should write a blog entry about their favourite website. There are a couple of examples in their Student’s Book -page 102- and their Workbook. However, they may also just comment this entry to comply with the minimum requirement of “writing blog posts, comments or brief messages on social networks.”
I hope everybody contributes to make this a great activity!

Antonio Marchal's Blog 
I think this blog is very complete in every way because it has explanations of grammar, has vocabulary and many things more than the students worth studying. I like the design of the blog, it has simple and beautiful colors and how it is organized. I also like that you have links to access other pages, such as pinterest or twitter. What I like the blog is the explanations of grammar because although my grades are not very good, I usually review them and look at the examples.

Thanks for your comment, Sandra. As usual, you are very kind and you try hard. Your comment shows the usual “silly” mistakes one makes when one’s writing hasn’t been revised thoroughly. My final piece of advice for this year is to try to stick to the right word order when writing in English. You still tend to translate directly from what you have thought or written in Spanish previously. Good try, though.

In my opinion, I really like this blog since I can look at anything and do grammar exercises on my own. I also find it very interesting that there is vocabulary, since in the book is not that everything comes very clear. Conclusion, I like the blog because people interested in studying can come and consult it. That’s good to learn English!

Thank you for your comment, Virginia. It’s been a long school year and I still need to insist that writing in English is not writing Spanish with English words. You should use a good dictionary to look for the right words -“consult”, for instance- and you should also revise your writing before clicking on “post”, “send” or “reply”. See you in class!

Hi Antonio, this blog has seemed educational, in every way, with examples to remember what we have already studied and worked and with a lot of vocabulary that is fundamental. But in this area the grammar that is what is the worst I have, with the idea that you have contributed with this blog seems simpler, thank you very much !!

In my blog, I´m going to write about my favourite website, Twitter.
Personally, it´s the best application because you can express your opinion with total freedom and your followers can discuss with you. Also you can follow people, even famous people!, such as singers or actors and you can share photos too.
One uncommon thing but so interesting is that you can meet and talk with international people, no matter the country, language or age.
This is the new era of cybernetic communication.

Hi teacher, in my opinion this blog is an excellent idea to share information with anyone who is interested in reading it and expressing opinions about their ideas. I think it’s a good way to use a blog posting exercises and reviews so that students can study and understand English better. Besides being very well organized and the texts very clear.

Hi teacher, I love this idea of being able to comment on a post, and that develops our abilities in technological areas that we use every day helping to improve expression. Actually, I really like this website, because it helps us to keep in touch with any doubts and also in it we can find information that maybe in the book we don´t have thanks to the works that you hang.
Finally, I have to say that I would like to be able to use this website in future courses, since this course is ending.

Hi Patricia. I loved to read your opinion about this blog. I think you really tried hard to continue learning English this year. However, I still think you need to believe me and start using the dictionary less -I usually upload content here, I don’t “hang” it- and trust English word order and syntax more the way it is explained and practised in class.
Don’t worry about next year. I intend to keep the blog updated. Bookmark it and visit it frequently 😉

In my blog I’ll write about my favorite social network, Tumblr. This social network allows you to share texts, photos, videos, links to other pages and more. You can follow other people / blogs, among all the users in the social network, you can find celebrities posting their hobbies or interests. What I like most about Tumblr, is that it has a style of its own that has no other social network. For me it is unique and incomparable.
However, not everything is good. But that doesn’t mean that it is a bad social network.

Hi teacher, I really love this website. However I would like to talk about my favourite one which is Instagram. With this social network I can post photos and videos and my friends can see them. If I like one photo I can press the like button below it and he will recieve a notification. I have a lot of followers so I think that people like my publications. I love how easy it is to find friends because everybody have this social network nowadays, even celebrities! You have to be careful with your posts because somebody could use your photos to do something bad but if you are careful, Instagram is really nice!

Hello teacher I find this blog interesting because it provides everything a little.

Hi teacher, I think the blog is very interesting because here were can review your explanations and practice with exercises. Personally, I like the idea of creating a blog where you can share things and anyone is able to delete them.

I think the blog is informative as there is a lot of interesting and useful information. Although, in my opinion, it is a little messy and you have trouble finding what you are looking for. But your blog is very good. Good work and thanks for everything.

Now that you mention it, it is true that my blog is somewhat messy… I suppose that is the nature of a blog, different opinions -in these case “topics”- in one place. I try to use descriptive titles and “tags” to categorize content so that students and readers in general can find what they are looking for. I hope to see you again before we say goodbye to this school year!

In my opinion, this blog is very interesting and good for students. If you have not heard the explanation in the class, you can consult the blog and study it at home. It’s really useful, I like the idea of working with technology!

In my blog, I will write about my favorite website, Animeflv. I like the manga but obviously Animeflv is better because you can see all the animes for instance one day, I see Dragon Ball Super, and another time Pokemon.
Clearly, Google Earth is great entertainment, but it is also very useful to learn the Japanese culture. So, I asked my Facebook friends if they use a lot of Animeflv.
Personally I think people really want this powerful gadget. We live on an amazing Psdt: Your blos is good.
